Biography
A musician based in Rome and active on the Italian and international jazz scene, Danielle Di Majo combines saxophones, flutes and original composition in a lyrical, dynamic and contemporary musical language.
Her artistic journey spans classical training, jazz improvisation, orchestral ensembles and original projects, with a consistent presence at festivals, concert series and artistic collaborations.

Artistic Journey
Born in Rome, Danielle Di Majo began her musical journey at an early age, studying piano at the Ostia Lido Classical Music Association under the guidance of Maria Antonietta Fippi.
In 2000, she began studying saxophone with Piero Quarta, later continuing her artistic development with Michel Audisso and Giancarlo Maurino. Over the years, she has taken part in masterclasses with leading figures from the Italian and international jazz scene, including Maurizio Giammarco, Rosario Giuliani, Bob Mintzer, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enrico Rava, Giovanni Tommaso, Kenny Wheeler, Dick Halligan, Roberto Taufic, Giancarlo Maurino and Emanuele Cisi.
Awards & Recognition
With the Danielle Di Majo Quartet and the Francesco Diodati Quintet, she has won several international competitions, including Incroci Sonori Jazz, Talenti Jazz Martina, Premio Palazzo Valentini, Barga Jazz and Porsche Jazz.

Festivals & Concerts
She has performed at festivals, concert series and prestigious venues in Italy and abroad, including the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Casa del Jazz, Villa Celimontana Jazz Image, Barga Jazz, Baronissi Jazz, Avignon Jazz Festival, Catania Jazz Festival, Lucca Jazz Donna and the Sala Nervi at the Vatican, performing in the presence of Pope Francis.
Collaborations
She has collaborated with jazz orchestras and ensembles including the Saint Louis Big Band, Jazz Studio Big Band, Testaccio Art of Jazz, San Lorenzo Jazz Orchestra, V.G. Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra della Sapienza and the Down Time Big Band.
